Cristopher Rogel Blanquet Chávez (Mexico City, 1984) is a documentary photographer and journalist who in 2023 received the World Press Photo award in the long-term category for his project Beautiful Poison, that same year he also won the  Award of Excellence in the Picture of the Year; the Eugene Smith Scholarship in 2021; he obtained 2nd place in the International Photography Awards, Deeper Perspective

In 2023, his work was selected in the official exhibition of the Visa pour la Image festival in Perignan, France. In collaboration with director Cesar Flores, she produced the documentary This field no longer smells like flowers, which was selected at the 2023 Morelia International Film Festival.

and was accepted as a Member of the National System of Art Creators by the Ministry of Culture of Mexico. He believes that photography is not only a powerful medium to tell other people's stories, but a window to communicate what he sees through the eyes of others.
